WHO ARE WE :
'Sunday
at Seven' is a youth club for young people aged
12 to 15 years.
When do we meet :
The club meets in the Church
Hall on
Sunday evenings at 7PM and organised by a church
leader who is assisted by 5 adults who help out on a
rota basis.
What are our aims ;
The Club is for young people who have a major say in
what activities they wish to take part in.
What do we do ;
Regular
features include table tennis, darts, pool/snooker,
badminton, volleyball and football. Members are
encouraged to sit and chat to get to know each other
and play music. Some members even bring along their
homework.
Over the winter session it is hoped to arrange some
theme nights including a 'jam session' and a
scaletrix evening. During the spring and summer
sessions we hope to move onto outdoor activities.
Boys and girls from the bible classes make up most of
the membership and they are allowed to bring friends
along to the club. There is no charge but funds are
raised through a tuck shop.
Over the past year the membership has been 22 with an
average weekly attendance of between 12 and 16.
